We highly recommend Servants of Sleight by The Exit Games in Clearwater, Florida. We give this a Fun Factor of 9 - This is a 90-minute experience with an organic, satisfying progression of well-made sets and an integrated story. The puzzles are varied and clean and contribute to the immersive experience. You will interact with live actors - these interactions contribute to the story and the puzzles. There is loads of content and satisfying tactile manipulation of set pieces and props. There is an element of suspense, but we did not find any of the interactions scary. This is a very fun room!
This is a very fine example of the “magical” themed escape rooms - we particularly enjoyed the varied set and the integration of the puzzles. This room can be booked by 2 to 8 people. As a group of two we enjoyed savoring all of the challenges presented by The Exit Games - but we believe groups of 3 to 4 will have loads of fun.
The scenario is that we believe we are ready to be initiated into the magical society known as the Servants of Sleight. The only problem is we need to find where the initiation is being held and pass the initiation test. Our research takes us to an alley in New York, where our adventure begins. Servants of Sleight is a 90-minute room, and we tend to enjoy the longer rooms, particularly when they are well-designed with lots of engaging content like Servants of Sleight. And make no mistake…this game has plenty of content, even for a 90-minute room; we were very busy enjoying the continuous stream of challenges presented.
The Exit Games deftly employs the subtle art of misdirection, used by skilled magicians, resulting in numerous gratifying “aha” moments. The game’s design is thoughtfully crafted, progressing thoughtfully through a variety of locations. You start off in an alley, and right there is the Magic Shop—but how do you gain access? "Servants of Sleight" is a standout escape game that artfully blends a captivating narrative with an immersive setting and an array of intriguing puzzles.
Ranking 41st on the 2023 TERPECA list of the world’s top escape rooms, "Servants of Sleight" offers a challenging yet rewarding experience. We rate the overall difficulty as intermediate, although some puzzles may push those seeking a more advanced challenge.
