Difficulty: Intermediate

We had fun playing Project 5150 at Hypnotic Escapes - we recommend it and gave it a FUN FACTOR of 7. This rating is based on set design which progresses nicely as we made our way through the scenario. The puzzles, props, and set blend and progress nicely into the captivating storyline crafted by Hypnotic Escapes. We've had the pleasure of experiencing all three rooms here, and while we recommend all of the rooms we must say that Atlantis, The Forgotten City is still our favorite at this location.

In this adventure, your group embarks on a mission to sneak into the Von Wolfhaussen Manor to uncover the truth behind the unsettling rumors about treatment techniques. If the tales are indeed true, your goal is to try to put a stop to it all.  Will you succeed?

Project 5150 offers a diverse range of puzzles that cater to different skill levels. The majority fall within the intermediate difficulty range, providing a balanced challenge for most players. However, some puzzles are more advanced, requiring keen problem-solving skills and teamwork, while others are more accessible, making the experience enjoyable for a broad audience. The escape room can accommodate groups of 4 to 8 players, but based on the room's layout and puzzle design, we believe a group of 4 provides the optimal experience. This allows for efficient collaboration, ensures that everyone remains engaged, and enhances the overall immersion in the game

We enjoyed how the information we discovered was developed and expanded throughout the experience—it really helped to enhance the story! This room is classified by Hypnotic Escapes as a Mystery/Thriller. While we don’t consider it a horror genre room (we’ve tried quite a few horror-themed rooms), there is one scene that some might find a bit scary or unsettling. We just want to share this so you can set your expectations accordingly. And don't worry, there are no actors to deal with in the room! Hypnotic Escape did an incredible job using technology to create the feeling of interaction with others.

We have always been made to feel welcome by all at Hypnotic Escapes. We have also had consistently easy times finding a parking space near the main entrance.

Mental health issues are serious and are not to be exploited - I believe Hypnotic Escapes does a sensitive job in that the techniques at the fictional Von Wolfhaussen Manor are deemed to be questionable right from the start.

Please let the folks at Hypnotic Escapes know that you saw a Fun Factor Escape Room Review….let us know what you think of the room - and HAVE FUN!
