Lab Rats is one of our favorite rooms anywhere! If you come to Los Angeles this is a must play room. It has ranked among the top escape rooms in the world since it opened. This is our top-rated room in Los Angeles and we have a 100% “WE LOVED IT!” feedback rate.

In this scenario the roles are reversed. Giant rats are testing the intelligence of humans - Your group is trying to pass all of the tests to earn freedom. What makes this escape room outstanding is the engaging and high quality set that Hatch Escapes uses as its backdrop for an amazing and varied array of puzzles. The vast set is not merely large in size but fun to explore - it requires team work and cooperation to coordinate how to use the props and where to use them.

The puzzles and techniques needed are varied and elegant. The technology used is well integrated in the scenario and fun. These aspects also contribute to the fun rating. Our Fun Factor rating of 9 means it is among the top 5% most funs rooms we have played anywhere in the world!

A word about the group size - Hatch Escape can accommodate up to 12 here. The non-linear elements and vast spaces will allow large groups to split off into “teams” to play this room. We recommend 4 to 6 players however as there are parts of this experience that are not to missed - but are to be savored and we believe a smaller group is better suited for that. We do not recommend this as one of your first escape rooms - we think you will enjoy and appreciate this more if you have a little experience under your belt. But if anything - Hatch Escapes is about having fun and we are sure they will take care of your group. This is not the typical escape room. We highly recommend it - Unique set and concept. Amazing!
