Difficulty: Intermediate

We recommend "The Magic Cottage - Sister’s Curse" by Infinity Escape in Fullerton, located in Orange County, California, just south of Los Angeles. We recommend this room because it features an outstanding, highly detailed, and beautiful set with props that are enjoyable to interact with. There is a lot of content and thus Infinity Escape has made this a 75 minute room.

This is a magic-themed room, offering opportunities to practice magic. Mostly, the puzzle difficulty is intermediate; there are a few that are more advanced. However, much of the experience is made tougher by a dimly lit set, making some tasks frustrating because it was hard to see. It is the 14th century so we do understand that lighting was likely an issue and the game guide was helpful, but receiving this guidance over a god mic, while appreciated, does break our immersion in the scenario.

The game guide - in character and costume - will escort you into the room…but for those who don’t like interacting with actors in person, this will be the only time you will be face-to-face with a live character; there will not be any actors in the escape room with you.

Infinity Escape does an outstanding job of using a small footprint to provide a rich, detailed set. Infinity Escapes also use

One of the most impressive aspects of this escape room was how Infinity Escape used high-quality video and set pieces to effectively drive the story of a magical world inhabited by two magical sisters who are each trapped in different magical objects in the cottage. The tech and video created an immersive experience. While no live actors were physically present, it never felt like anything was missing. Through cleverly integrated video, we interacted with dynamic characters who guided us and added depth to the story. This added an unexpected level of engagement and immersion, making us feel like we were part of a larger narrative. If you're looking for an escape room that showcases how technology can create vibrant and interactive storytelling, this is definitely one to try!

Search for magical ingredients

As magic is at play, you will need to cast spells with the right ingredients and the correct wand.

The well of Infinity!

This escape room is designed for groups of 2 to 6 players. While the price is the same whether you book for two or three players, we recommend going with 3 to 4 people for the best experience. This group size strikes a great balance, making it easier to search the dimly lit cottage efficiently without feeling cramped.

The puzzle flow is mostly linear, so if you bring a larger group, there’s a chance some players might find themselves waiting for others to complete tasks. That said, the immersive setting and clever challenges ensure everyone has a chance to contribute.

A bonus upon completion!
