School of Magic, The Dark Curse

Paranoia Quest

72 Broad Street SW, Atlanta, GA, 30303

Date we played was October 22, 2024

Booking size 2 to 10; We recommend 2 to 4

Game time: 60 minutes

Objective: Embark on a quest to save the beloved school of magic from the clutches of the Dark Wizard's evil curse!

Difficulty: Basic

We recommend The School of Magic for its set and clean puzzles - it is an especially good room for young players and families…but it is fun for adults.  The booking size is for 2 to 10 players.  For adults, we recommend no more than 4…although 5 or 6 inexperienced players may find this a great introduction to escape rooms.  For children we are told that bookings up to 10 can be fun.

Kids of all ages will have fun exploring the set.

We had loads of fun playing this room. The set is very engaging. The School of Magic “The Dark Curse”…is a fine and approachable representation of the very popular school of magic escape rooms - inspired by Harry Potter.

…a glimpse at some of the high quality engaging set presented by Paranoia Quest Escapes.

The puzzle level is basic - so new players will find this room very approachable…but there were a couple of puzzles that were more on the intermediate side that will be satisfying for experienced players. Our group of experienced players, had fun playing The School of Magic - The Dark Curse because the set was engaging, and Paranoia Quest provided us with a reasonable amount of exploring and tactile manipulation to keep us engaged.

Everything worked as planned - which we have found not to always be the case with magic-themed rooms. Paranoia Quest also excels with friendly and engaging customer service. Our game guide, Cade, made us feel welcome and contributed to our fun.
